EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Sally Lee Christian Sally Lee Christian began studying with Sri Guru Vishnu Tattva Das in 2002. She has been a lifelong student of various dance forms, including ballet, modern, jazz, middle eastern, and central asian. She has performed in numerous festivals including the Ethnic Dance Festival. Odissi is more than a dance style to Sally- it is a way of life that includes poetry, acting, dance, history, philosophy and religion. Sally is a published poet with an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She has collaborated in the role of an English-speaking poet in the translation of various Uzbek and Tajik poets. Ms. Christian serves as managing director of Odissi Vilas. |
